Navigating the Corn Starch Production Process:
1. Precise Corn Weighing:
At the onset, precision takes the lead as cleaned corn from the silo system enters the production line. Through real-time measurement by our on-line weighing machine, the corn input is meticulously recorded, forming the basis for downstream processing.
2. Transformational Steeping:
Countercurrent steeping is central to softening corn by absorption of weak acid water in the steeping tanks. As heated acid circulates at 50℃ across the tanks, corn transitions to the crushing section. Post-dehydration, it finds its place in the wet corn storage tank.
3. H2SO3 Generation:
Sulfur undergoes combustion in the sulfur furnace, generating SO2 gas. After water infusion, SO2 blends to create the essential H2SO3 required for production.
4. Corn Crushing and Germ Isolation:
Steeped corn journeys from the wet corn storage tank to the initial degerm mill. The crushed outcome navigates to the 1st germ cyclone, facilitating germ separation. Further grinding occurs in the 2nd degerm mill, followed by separation in the 2nd germ cyclone.
5. Germ Cleansing, Dehydration, and Drying:
Germ separation prompts thorough cleansing through the three-stage gravity arc screen. The purified germ advances to dehydration and subsequent drying processes, yielding the final germ product.
6. Fiber Removal and Treatment:
Inside the pin mill, fractured corn undergoes robust crushing, eliminating internal fiber. Recovered fiber enters the multistage washing screen, recovering mixed starch. Cleaned fiber is then dehydrated, followed by drying to produce the fiber product. It seamlessly blends with concentrated corn steeping liquor before progressing to additional drying.
7. Protein Extraction and Starch Washing:
Starch milk enters the principal separator for protein extraction. The extracted starch encounters a 12-stage hydrocyclone process, ensuring the removal of foreign impurities and minute protein remnants.
8. Starch Dehydration and Drying:
After peeler centrifuge-assisted dehydration, refined starch milk undergoes a thorough drying process via the air dryer system, resulting in starch boasting moisture content below 14%.
9. Protein Concentration and Refinement:
The protein concentration journey includes utilization of the gluten concentrator, followed by further dehydration via the filter press. This culminates in a drying phase, yielding the final, certified protein product.
10. Resource Optimization:
Process water, encompassing SO2 and insoluble elements, is repurposed across sections like steeping and washing. Corn steeping liquid is expertly concentrated through evaporation. A portion of HCSL collaborates with the fiber bundle dryer to produce a mixed fiber outcome, while the remaining portion serves as valuable by-products.
